We're a small team. Every email is read by someone who can actually fix what's wrong, not routed through a ticket queue.
The basics, quickly.
How do I import bookmarks from Safari?
Open MangaBrows → Settings → Import & Export → Import from Safari. Everything stays on your device — we never see a bookmark.
How do I enable iCloud sync?
Open iOS Settings → tap your name → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud → enable MangaBrows. Your bookmarks, settings, and reading positions sync across your iPhone and iPad via your personal iCloud, never through our servers.
How do I clear my history and cache?
MangaBrows → Settings → Privacy → Clear Browsing Data. Pick what to clear (history, cache, cookies, or all) and tap Confirm.
How do I switch to reader view?
On any chapter page, tap the book icon in the address bar. MangaBrows will try to detect the chapter automatically; if it doesn't, tap the book icon to force it. Tap again to go back to the full page.
How do I download a chapter for offline reading?
Open the chapter → tap Share → Save Offline. Find your downloaded chapters under Library → Offline. They work on a plane, on the subway, anywhere.
The reader view isn't detecting a chapter.
Tap the book icon to force reader view. If detection still misbehaves, email [email protected] with the URL and we'll improve detection for that site.
How do I adjust gestures?
Settings → Gestures. Toggle individual gestures on or off, swap swipe directions, and adjust sensitivity. Defaults work for most people — don't feel obligated to tinker.
Can I use MangaBrows on iPad?
Yes. It's a universal binary: split view, Stage Manager, external keyboard, trackpad — all supported on iPadOS 16+.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email [email protected]. Include your device model and iOS version if possible. We read every message and ship updates frequently.
Do you have an Android version?
Not yet. MangaBrows is iOS-only at launch.
Still not right?
Pages are loading slowly.
Pages usually stall because the source website is slow, not MangaBrows. Try: (1) force-close and reopen the app, (2) clear the cache (Settings → Privacy → Clear Cache), (3) check your connection. If one specific site is always slow, let us know — our image preloader can often help.
Images aren't loading.
Some manga sites load images via scripts that our content blocker may intercept. Tap the shield icon in the address bar to disable the content blocker for that site. If that fixes it, great; if not, email us the URL.
The app crashed.
Sorry. Please opt in to Apple's crash reporting (Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers) and email us with what you were doing when it crashed. We release patches fast.
iCloud sync isn't syncing.
Check that iCloud is enabled in iOS Settings, you're signed into the same Apple ID on both devices, and you have an internet connection. Sync can take a minute or two. If nothing happens after a restart, email support and we'll debug with you.
A specific site doesn't work.
Try toggling the content blocker (shield icon). If the site requires login, make sure you're signed in (MangaBrows uses the same WebKit as Safari, so cookies work the same). If it still fails, let us know — we often add per-site fixes.
