Questions, answered.
Does MangaBrows host or provide manga?
No. MangaBrows is a web browser — it doesn't host, mirror, or distribute any content. Every page comes from the site you choose to visit. Think of it as Safari, tuned for a specific kind of reading.
What does MangaBrows track?
Nothing about what you read. We don't have analytics on your browsing, no tracking SDKs, no ad networks. The only data that leaves your device is the normal HTTP traffic you'd get in any browser. See our Privacy Policy for specifics.
Is it really free?
Yes, the app is free to download and use. There may be an optional "Reader Pro" upgrade for power features like advanced library management — none of the core browsing features are paywalled.
How is this different from Safari?
Safari is general-purpose. MangaBrows opens in a reader view by default, has gesture controls tuned for long vertical scrolls, prefetches chapter images so pages never stall, and includes a true-black dark mode made for OLED displays. It's a browser, but one that knows what you're doing.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes — universal app for iPhone and iPad, with split view, Stage Manager, and external keyboard support.
What about my existing bookmarks?
You can import bookmarks from Safari during first launch, or anytime in Settings → Import. Everything stays on your device; iCloud sync is opt-in.
